Fence installation is priced per linear foot and cost is influenced by the type of material used and style of fence. Fence material prices can fluctuate daily and we stay informed to offer our customers the best prices possible. When assessing our prices, please take into account some of the extras you will receive as a Precision Fence customer that are included in our service.
As you are probably aware the recent hurricanes in our area knocked down many fences that were poorly constructed. To give your fence added strength we go beyond local fencing practices by putting the posts deeper in the ground, we use 80lb of concrete per post, we narrow the distance between posts and we utilize the overall strength of the fence in construction, so there are no vulnerable weak spots. Our fences are built to last.
Why choose Precision Fence?
Ever wondered why so many new fences failed during the hurricane? Below is a typical example of the standard of fence construction on new properties in the Houston area. This was a fence that was six months old that we had to move and extend. The posts were only 18" in the ground (We set all our posts at least 30" in the ground) and only had a small amount of poorly mixed concrete around the top that was crumbling away (we use 80lb of concrete that applies 4000 PSI to each post). This fence would surely fail in the near future.
These fences like so many were constructed with only two rails (We install three on ours), which creates an area of weakness and causes pickets to warp. The rails were not cut to fit the angles of the posts and nails are jammed in to try to get some purchase (We take the time to cut the correct angles for each rail and we use the correct hardware to add the most strength and longevity to your fence).
